Hope dies... perishes... when we do not remember God. This is the sad ending when we rely on self or things of this world as structures of our confidence, for they are fragile and flimsy. While they may be beautiful in nature, such as the spider web, they are small in focus, lacking perspective of the One who created us and the things we worship.
How devastating this existence void of such hope; fragile, teetering, faltering, unsteady. Let me never be so unsteady in life, but rather look up and turn to lean fully on the Lord. For we have a God who does not waiver with the wind; does not change with the seasons. He does not run low on supply or resources, yet is eternal in power and creativity. How awesome that we can believe our God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. He remains seated on the throne and never needs to campaign for office or seek re-election. Our God is the Original, the first, the best, the Almighty! He never falters, never fails, never loses, never gets rattled and never fears. How grateful I am to have this confident hope! Let us never forget our God reigns!

When you posted a year ago on Job in Word of God, Train me, you stated that Eliphaz represents personal experience, Bildad represents universal wisdom, and Zophar represents common sense. I find that helpful in trying to understand the kind of "advice" they're giving to Job.
