Some say, "It's part of life, get used to it."
And in this world, I guess they're right.
But how much more we should rejoice that our God is nothing like this world. For all His promises are good. All His prophecies have been, and will be fulfilled. All His precepts stand firm. All His truths are reliable.
And when each a new baby is born, it is for His purpose. And that purpose, like one of His promises, is intended to be kept. God does not begin anything without the intention of finishing it... of bringing it to fullness.
So why do we stumble?
Why do we wander, wondering...
"What's the use?"
Because we have not let go of the concept that we are self-existent. As if we are here because we chose to be... to serve our own desires.
But if we want to really know... what's the use?
And if we want to escape the disappointment of life...
Let us, like David, call out to God Most High.
For when He saves us from these weary questions, He invites us into the promise which only He can keep. Reaching down from Heaven, challenging our enemies to back down, and completing us with His faithful love and truth.
For all His promises are good.
All His purposes are worthy.
He is our Fulfiller of Purpose.
Rest and calmly think about that.
from my heart...
I write as an overflow... an expression of my true love for God and with a deep desire to encourage others in their day to day lives. For we can only find peace, joy, and satisfaction when we yield to the One who yielded His life for us.
