God inhabits the praises of His people!
This was the day of dedication when Solomon had the ark of the covenant brought into the newly completed temple in Jerusalem. And just as his father, David had done before him, Solomon led the procession with worship in song. The Levitical singers dressed in fine linen and carrying cymbals, harps, and lyres were standing east of the altar, and with them were 120 priests blowing trumpets. 2 Chronicles 5:12 And the whole congregation of Israel was present to hear as... They raised their voices, accompanied by trumpets, cymbals, and musical instruments, in praise to the Lord: For He is good; His faithful love endures forever. 2 Chronicles 5:13b This was not the only time which the Lord displayed His glory for men. For it happened when Moses built the first moveable tabernacle of tents... The cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. Moses was unable to enter the tent of meeting because the cloud rested on it, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. Exodus 40:34-35 For our God desires that His presence be with us, near us... within us. We too are called the temple of God. And He will fill us with His Spirit when we draw near Him in praise. Let us seek His presence. Let us lift our voices in praise. Let us draw near to the LORD and receive His Filling Glory.
