When I struggle to learn something new, I tend to think I'm just not smart enough; that the subject matter simply does not fit within my scope of ability.
But I am refreshed to realize that God knows it all. For He was there in the beginning, speaking forth light. He was the Engineer who designed our world of magnificent order. From the tiniest of particles to the grandest of mountain views, our God is the Generator and Planner of it all. He made the mind as it is. He guided man's thoughts, through which we create new technologies, theories and advances in science. Therefore, He is the giver of all wisdom. So I cry out to the Lord... I am in need. Without Him I cannot learn. Without Him I cannot reason correctly. Without Him I cannot understand. But with Him I can be delighted. For He is not only brilliant, but generous. And He will give wisdom and understanding to those who ask. He tells us that ... IF we will only accept His words store up His commands within, listening closely to wisdom and direct our heart to understanding; IF we will only call out to insight and lift our voices to understanding, IF we will only seek it like silver and search for it like hidden treasure, THEN we will understand the fear of the Lord and discover the knowledge of God. Proverbs 2:1-5 (personalized) So I lift my voice to the Creator, asking that He open my mind and and make simple those things which seem outside my reach. And I thank Him for being Our Delightful Knowledge.
