How can I so easily tuck God away when I'm not "in need" of Him? Because, of course, I've got a plan. I mean, it's my life after all... right?
How grateful I am for reminders such as this from Solomon. He spared no expense, called on kings, bartered for the finest materials, and hired only the most skilled craftsmen. For he realized the magnitude of our God. He humbly tried to grasp the the job he was assigned, and took no pride on himself in completing it.
Who is able to build anything worthy of our God? For heaven... even the highest heaven, cannot contain Him. So who am I to easily tuck Him away when I get to thinking I don't need Him?
Lord God, Most High!
Thank you for patiently waiting
for my heart to humble itself before You.
You are worthy of all praise.
You are the King of kings...
and the Lord of lords.
Contain my pride
that I might know You more.
from my heart...
I write as an overflow... an expression of my true love for God and with a deep desire to encourage others in their day to day lives. For we can only find peace, joy, and satisfaction when we yield to the One who yielded His life for us.
